Wowww :O

Since I said hello to college life, I haven't been following any news about the Thai entertainment industry. Therefore you can say that I'm a bit left behind on the current updates...including this one...

Ehem. A Fender Strat..yeah..??
Look who's playing ittttt!!!!!
Yeah, a seven year old boy. I don't know much about this boy, just happened to watch his MV on YouTube yesterday night. At first I didn't really care..but then when I watched him playing solo, oh wow. I became speechless. He somehow reminds me of the kid in School of Rock. Well it's not surprising that there are many other guitar prodigies out there after all.

It's just funny to read a comment on YouTube staying something like "Ah, I'm 16 and I haven't even played an electric guitar before." I played an electric guitar for not more that a minute a week before I reached 18, but that doesn't count because it's a fake Stratocaster. This kid is so cool to experience such achievement at a very young age.

I don't know if it's just me, but *ehem*, he looks hot in this picture LOL.
Awwwww :D
He sure is enjoying the attention that he's getting, hope he's gonna grow up like other kids :P

I can see that this kid is enjoying very much on what he's doing, and you can tell that he has a true interest in playing. Well I hope he'll become successful in the future.

Nong Mark's MV. I think I'm in love with this kid *_*

..and yeah, I've watched some other clips of him playing live. It's really him who's playing.

Music Review: Seua Yai

Hello blog. First of all, I have to say that this isn't going to be a review which looks like a review because I'm a noob in writing reviews.

I'm a bit surprised to see that this band isn't so well-known compared to any other Thai rock bands. Even searching for their photos is a bit difficult job to do. Oh, OK - wait. The last time they released their album is about 5 years ago. No wonder.

I know I've been very late in discovering about these guys. It all started when I watched 'The Letter', a movie starring Num Attaporn (yeah, the vocalist). I began to listen to some of their songs after discovering about this band. At first, some songs weren't so impressive when I listened to them on YouTube. However, after listening to the mp3 versions, headphones on, WOW they are awesome!

One thing I like about Thai music is their awesomeness in rock/pop rock genre. I'm an avid fan to rock/pop rock music, I love listening to the beat of drums, guitar solos, etc. and I love this band's music. Some songs, like Wat-too Klaai Pleng and Dai Yin Laeo Hai Neuay have really nice guitar solos. They're relaxing and rock-ish at the same time. That's what I love.

Talking about the band's name (เสือใหญ่), it actually means 'Big Tiger'. Not bad to me. One good thing is that they named their band in Thai, it's good coz it shows their identity - compared to a lot of Thai bands out there that have weird english names (decided not to mention LOL). I love their logo too ^^

First album (2005)

Second album (2006)

OK. I don't know what else to write. Message to professional reviewers who found this entry coincidentally: DON'T KILL ME. I've told y'all earlier that I don't know how to write a review.

Khan Kluay 2 on TV Tomorrow!

8am. I will be in front of the TV tomorrowwwwwwww!!!

I am sooo excited, that's why I shared this as my status on fb. HAHA. Unfortunately, it is dubbed in BM by Akim and Mila. I actually want to watch this movie with the real Thai voices. My two reasons:

1. The original voices are by Num Attaporn and Anne Thongprasom!
2. I watched the 'behind the scenes'. Original voices portray way better emotions. You should see Anne Thongprasom cry.

Why on earth should they dub this animation movie from the beginning? Subtitles could have solved the problem. But ah, I forgot, it is an animation movie. Some kids can't read subtitles yet. LOL.

Waking up early tomorrow. Tuning in to channel Astro Ceria. WHAT? Yep, you've heard it. ASTRO CERIA. LOL.

p/s. BM version is "Jumbo Gajah Biru". Another LOL. XD

Don't Judge a Guy by His Film

The guy in the movie poster doesn't really look like him.

Recently I watched a movie titled "The Letter" and apparently I had a huge crush on the main actor. Although his looks may not be as stunning as other actors out there, I still consider it as decent, plus if you judge him through his character in the movie.

My favourite scene from the movie ^_^

If you watch the movie, I'm sure you'll also (at least) have a crush on his character - a bashful guy (yep, that made him look cute!) who in the end died. (That was a weird sentence, I know). He was a charming dude - he cooked and washed clothes for his wife, and was also portrayed as a loving and caring person. Comments from viewers on YouTube even stated that these kind of men do not even exist in this era. I partially agree with that statement.

Therefore, I went curious about this main actor. For the past few weeks I've been googling and YouTubing to know more about his other works. I found two MVs featuring him - well, not as a manly hero but rather a shy dude and an 'unimportant person' - yeah that was one of the song titles.

Here's a few opinions from people around me:
Leslie: "Wow! So rock!"
My sis: "He's old..."

Cute XD

I also found out that his character in another drama is such a loser soft-hearted man. His wife cheated on him in the drama. LOL (decided not to laugh).

But behold dear readers! Thou shalt not judge a guy by his movies and dramas. Leslie was right. He is rock. He's in fact a vocalist of a rock band!

The guy on the centre is him.

I can't believe I had a crush on a CORE ROCK dude! :P

Credits to respective video/picture owners. I photoscaped the images from various videos LOL!

Next time I'll talk about something serious, I promise.

BODYSLAM is AWESOME!

I've lost track of what's new in the Thai music industry since I didn't log in to my YouTube account for one month (I did log in to favourite a video about redox reaction haha - and I didn't dare to stay there viewing Thai MVs because I would sure end up there for hours).

Just now I came across Bodyslam's latest songs from their latest album and OH I LOVE 'EM!!

However, I didn't dare to get the chords and lyrics. I need to spare some space in my brain for things like breathing mechanism of a fish and so on and so forth. Lol.

I'm not an avid fan of Bodayslam but I love how their songs create a motivational feeling inside me (yeah like their song Kwahm Cheua). Lovely lyrics. Ohh they sure are AWESOME!!!

p/s: thanks to anothaidara for the subs :)

After One Year

I discovered songs by Nuvo a year ago and since then I've been a fan of them. I love the guitar solos of their songs, I love their music, the lyrics - in fact I think that I love them more compared to any other Thai bands.

And today, I've just found out that Nuvo will perform a concert tour in USA! How cool is that? I wish I could come. You can see my wishlist - one of the things listed is that I want to be in any of Nuvo's concerts. That's a too impossible dream. Way too impossible.

Here's the link to the website of their concert tour http://www.nuvoinusa.com/index.html Well, I guess there will be pictures of them performing uploaded soon after the concert. That's one great thing to wait for ;)

How I hope they have more of fans in Malaysia. :(

...and in case Joe or Kong are Google-ing about themselves (like I always do), I wish to say - Here's one little 17 year old fan of Nuvo in Malaysia! You guys are so cool~ Nuvo is one of the greatest bands in Thailand! :)

Latest Interests

I have a tendency to put on my attention to nerdy-looking guys (go on, laugh), so for some reason, the moment I saw this MV I thought I should give it a try. Plus it's a new song with 235 "likes" on YouTube haha. Catchy song, simple beat, cool solo, the guys' styles are also not too bad - and in the end I love this song.

Interest no.2 is still Slam Dunk, Rubik's cube and I think I'm also interested in revising lately. Ah, and also eating and evening naps - thanks to holidays.

Lesson One (For Everyone!)

Me love this song!

Bank Krisadee

Okay, so here it goes~
I'm glad that there are still some fans of Thai lakorns in my country ;) And I'm glad that at least there is someone reading my blog post about my interest in Thai lakorns.

Place of birth: Bangkok
Education: (I'm not sure about his education level), but it sounds like he took Agricultural Science, (or) went to Kasetsart University

Opinion about love: "Love is something you cannot write or say, you must experience it by your own..."
Other random facts: He likes girls who are polite

That sums up what I can find about him in his profile biodata on Channel 7 Thailand's website here. <-- please click

Forgive me if I translated some parts wrongly, but I'm pretty sure that about 80% of the things above are exactly (or more less) correct. Please check out the website, it has 5 pictures of him there (which I don't think I want to put here as they are copyrighted).

If you want more pictures of him, enter his name in Thai script - แบ็งค์ กฤษฎี พวงประยงค์ or just แบ็งค์ กฤษฎี (use Google search for better results). You can find a few pictures of him, I guarantee :)

I hope this helped you much! :D

Credits goes to www.ch7.com - I don't own any of the information stated above, I just translated it.

Enjoy! :) and thanks for visiting my blog and be the first person to ask something about Thai actors here!

Wow, December!

The 13th day of December. I didn't even realise about it.

Now I remember about my post last year, (Hello December, the Month of 1001 Laziness). The situations different this year. The weather's fine every morning. However, nights are still cold. I don't need the fan but instead two blankets. Evenings are also perfect for recreation (although I don't do so).

What next? Yeah, it's been a very long time since I updated my blog. I just didn't have the feeling and mood to voice out anything. Nothing seems very special, but indeed I am enjoying my holidays because next year I'll surely have no time to relax and waste some time. Although quite boring, I have nothing to complain of regarding this holidays. No weddings, no vacations (well as usual) but yep, I am spending quality time with my guitar and PC.

My mission of tidying up my bedroom seems to be 3/4 completed. I'm already fed up of Facebook-ing. I have totally nothing to do. Perhaps I should do a little bit of revision XD

Went to Popular and bought a book of sample essays this afternoon. I must start digging the pages completely and bury my nose in that book for the whole day tomorrow. I shouldn't waste time. I know.

I'm in the mood of singing Nuvo's "Tam Dai Reu Plao" (ทำได้หรือเปล่า). In case you want to sing it along with me, here's the transliteration of the lyrics. I did it by myself haha. As for the translation, you'll have to wait for several years until I really master my Thai language ^^

Ter glap maa wan nee

Let's start singin' fellas!

School Holiday "Project"?

Last year I watched Kaew Tah Pee, this year I am also going to keep that "tradition". I took up the decision to watch Rak Lamoon Loon Lamai this school holidays.

Well I am not confident that I am going to be able to watch it till the end before this holiday ends but my action of "random watching" eventually made me being hooked to this lakorn because of its storyline that seems to be hilarious. I need comedy right now.

Plus Kong Saharat is the Pra'ek. This is one of the main factors. Haha.

Wow, that's a lot of touch up on that photo.
I am so gonna watch this till the last episode :p

Boredom

I didn't know what to do so I went crazy with PhotoScape this evening. These are the pictures of Chin Chinawut when he was here to promote his drama Love.18 last June. You can find my stories on that day in my post "Chin Chinawut!!!!!!'. All of the pictures were taken by myself and as you can see they are all in bad quality - that's why I did some touch up haha. Fellas, go crazy looking at them! He's sure a cutey ;)

Oh, I just love PhotoScape.
and Chin ;)

Please Stay Here Forever!

ดูคลิป MV จะรักเธอมากกว่านั้น
Powered by you2play.com

The reason I'm doing this is because I can't download this damn lovely MV. Found it on Youtube, but oh why there are stuffs like "country restriction" and so on. Gah!~

Kong looks extra charming in this MV and that's the only reason I really want to keep this. Oh MV, please stay here forever!

Haha.

One Big Fat Proud Fan

I wonder if the title is correct. The phrase probably refers to me know. Proudly showing off:

Finally, I have a pic of all the band members plus their autographs. (Actually I found it last week, but felt lazy to upload). I wish it was Nuvo alone, but Micro is also not that bad, let's just conclude it's a bonus for having both (which are two great rock bands from the late 80's).

That was not an easy job searching for a stuff like this. I went in and out countless forums and tried out various keywords. Ahh..at last~

3 posts in a day? I must be insane.

New Stuff - Singto

So what is this Singto thingy? You must be wondering.

I'm actually talking about someone named Singto. I mean Singto the Star 5 - winner of The Star 5 (a reality show of course in Thailand) - I never knew about him before, until I stumbled across his latest and new song, Mai Yahk Dai Yin Siang Ter last night. It was my first attempt of translating a Thai song (officially) to get a free CD. Kahkah. Can't believe I spent two hours on the song until I didn't realise I fell in love with it. Sadly the official MV is not on YouTube yet as it is still really really new (oh my, that sentence is sure a bad one).

How shocked I am to know that he won that title when he's still 16. He sure has a very deep voice, I don't really like it but you know, the song is not bad - something I've been searching for in this era of Thai songs that sounds so K-pop. This song is just different - it gives me a new view on new Thai songs. Most of the songs nowadays sucks especially when it comes to imitating the beat and style of K-pop stuffs. Ew~. (I'm not saying all are bad. Rock songs from Thailand never fail to make me feel rock, old and new. Yeah~)

Singto's voice is so Thai~ oh my..I'm starting to love him ^.^

I typed out สิงโต alone, pictures of lions came out. So I added "The Star 5". This is what I got: *screams* (a so Thai face)

Really Want to Watch This!

Lols. How shocked I was when I first watched this trailer. I couldn't believe that girl was singing one of Nuvo's hit song. Oh man, and I spot 2 Nuvo posters on the wall! I hope I have one!!

Ok, that's not the point. The main thing is, oh my gosh..Ken looks damn cute like he always is. Not a massive die-hard fan actually, but I really admire his attractiveness. This movie looks hilarious. I wish I will be able to watch it before it becomes a cerita basi.

Dare to Watch?

Sorry, not a fan of horror movies but I am shocked to see the changes of kid actor Kao from Kaew Tah Pee. Plus Charlie Trairat looks so handsome now. Not to forget he's also 16. And Dan is in this movie. Owh, and pretty Marsha that never shows signs of ageing!~

Man, I have to watch this. But no, I don't have the guts. :D

Fun With PhotoScape Part II

Spot your favourite pra'ek. Lols.

Fun With PhotoScape

As a fan of D2B, I should never forget to try out their pictures first although no one talks about D2B nowadays :(

Big D2B. Compared to any other Thai artists, I have hundreds of his pictures. Although he's gone, I hope his fans still remember him. Fans who want to save this pic, go ahead.

NUVO. My current obsession hehe..This is fun~

:) :) :) Handsome + Guitarist + Great character in "Battle of Angels" = enough to make me attracted to Kong Nuvo~

I'm on my way to make more. For a noob like me, PhotoScape is fun. For a pro..hehe, use photoshop instead~
